Studio hire · Canary Wharf, London
The studio is yours, high above London
A full professional setup, hired by the hour, with nobody looking over your shoulder. Neumann, Universal Audio, Teletronix and Genelec in an acoustically treated room, panoramic views across London, and the whole place to you and your team. £100 an hour, from three hours.
Who hires it
Built for people who already know what they're doing
Studio hire is not a guided session. It is the room, the equipment and the time, handed over to you.
Artists with their own team
You have your producer, your engineer, your people. You do not need ours. Book the room, bring the team you already work with, and record the way you always do, somewhere considerably better than where you usually do it.
Producers and engineers
A professional chain you can actually work on: Neumann into Universal Audio, Teletronix on the way in, Genelec to check it. Bring your session, plug in, and run it exactly how you want. Nobody sits in unless you ask.
Video and photo shoots
Music videos, content days, press shots and interviews. A real studio interior with London behind it, rather than a white wall in a warehouse. Bring your cameras, lighting and crew and the space is yours for the booking.
The setup
A working studio, not an empty room
Most spaces you can hire by the hour in London are exactly that: a space. You arrive with flight cases and spend your first hour building a session before anyone sings a note. Here the chain is already up and ready.
Bring your session on a drive and pick up where you left off. Tell us what you work in when you book and it is ready before your time starts.
What hire covers
Exactly what you get, and what to bring
In the room
- Exclusive use of the whole studio
- The full recording setup, ready to track
- Acoustic treatment and headphone monitoring
- Keys, controllers and instruments
- Panoramic views across London
- Seating and a bar area for your team
- Total control over how you run the session
Bring your own
- Your session files on a drive or laptop
- Your producer or engineer, if you want one
- Any specialist mics or instruments you rely on
- For shoots: cameras, lighting and crew
There is no engineer included in studio hire. That is the point of it, and it is why it is priced the way it is. If you would rather have one tracking and mixing for you, book a recording session or production instead.

The view
Far above the city, and it shows
Most studios available for hourly hire in London are basements, railway arches or rooms with nothing to look at. Sessions there are fine. They are also identical to every other session, and nobody films them.
This one sits near the top of the tower with London laid out on three sides. It changes how a session feels, and it changes what the content from that session looks like, which matters when half the value of a studio day now is what you post from it.
The light moves through the day too. Bright and clean in the morning, gold across the floors at sunset, city lights after dark. A long booking gets you three completely different looks without moving anything.
Also used for
Sessions are half of it, shoots are the other half
The same booking works as a location. Bring your cameras, lighting and crew, and shoot whatever you are making.
Want the shoot handled for you rather than hiring the space alone? We also run podcast sessions and photo and video packages with our own team and equipment.

How it works
Booked in a few minutes
- Choose your hours. Three to eight, all at £100 an hour. Pick the one that covers setting up, working and packing down.
- Read and accept the terms of hire. Short and plain: look after the room and the equipment, leave it as you found it, tell us if you need longer.
- Pick your date and time. Availability is live, so what you see is what is free. Your booked time is your entry time and your finish time.
- Tell us what you need. Send your team's names for building access, and what you work in, so the room is ready before your time starts.
- Work. The studio is yours. Reset the room before your finish time and you are done.
Good to know
Studio hire in London: your questions, answered
How much does it cost to hire a recording studio in London?
At Choisez Studio hire is £100 per hour with a three-hour minimum, so £300 for three hours up to £800 for a full eight-hour day. The rate covers exclusive use of the room and its full recording setup, so there is no separate equipment charge, no booking fee and no charge per person. The only extra costs are overtime if you stay past your booked time, and a cleaning fee if the space is not left as you found it.
What equipment is included in the hire?
The room comes with its full setup: Neumann condenser microphones, Universal Audio interfaces and preamps, Teletronix outboard compression, Genelec studio monitors, Native Instruments Komplete keyboards and controllers, headphone monitoring and live and software instruments, in an acoustically treated room. You are hiring a working studio, not an empty space you have to build a session inside.
Can I bring my own producer or engineer?
Yes, and most people do. Studio hire is built for artists who already have a team and for producers and engineers who want to run their own session. Nobody from Choisez sits in unless you ask. If you would rather have an engineer on the session, we also run recording, production and mixing packages with our team.
Is an engineer included in studio hire?
No. Studio hire gives you the room and the equipment to run yourself, which is why it is priced the way it is. If you want an engineer tracking and mixing for you, book a recording or production session instead and the engineer is included in the price.
Can I bring my own session files?
Yes. Bring your session on a drive or laptop and work from where you left off. Tell us what you work in when you book so we can make sure everything you need is set up and ready before your time starts, rather than you losing the first half hour to setup.
Can I use the studio for music videos and shoots?
Yes. Alongside music sessions the space is regularly used for music videos, photo shoots, brand and product content, interviews and social content. It reads as a real, lived-in room on camera rather than a white cyclorama, and the London skyline sits behind almost every angle in the space. For shoots you bring your own cameras, lighting and crew.
What is the minimum booking?
Three hours. You can book three, four, five, six, seven or eight hours, all at £100 per hour. If you need longer than eight hours or a multi-day booking, message us and we will arrange it.
How many people can I bring?
Tell us the size of your team when you book so we can set the room up for your numbers and make sure the building is expecting you. Everyone attending needs to be named in advance for building access.
What makes it different from other studios you can hire in London?
Two things. The setup is professional rather than entry level, so producers and engineers can actually work on it rather than fighting it. And it sits near the top of one of London's tallest towers, with panoramic views across the city, so a session or a shoot in that room looks like nowhere else in the city. Most studios available for hourly hire are basements or warehouse rooms with no view at all.
Where is the studio and how does access work?
Canary Wharf, London, a short walk from the station, with Jubilee line, DLR and Elizabeth line connections. The exact address and access details are sent to you after booking. Your booked time is your entry time and your finish time, so plan loading in and packing down inside it.
What happens if I run over my booked time?
That counts as overtime and is charged in thirty-minute increments at the normal hourly rate. If you think you will need longer, tell us before the end of your booking rather than after, and we will extend it where the diary allows.
How do I book the studio?
Choose the number of hours you need on this page, read and accept the terms of hire, then pick your date and time. Booking is confirmed online and the address is sent to you straight after.
